Tania Sergott

Tania Sergott is a Managing Director in Deloitte & Touche LLP’s U.S. National Office and possesses over 24 years of experience in public accounting.  Since 2012, she has been responsible for ensuring the Firm’s audit technology platforms are designed with functionality and content that enable users to efficiently comply with professional standards and perform high-quality audits.

In June 2020, Ms. Sergott became a member of the U.S. Auditing Standards Board (ASB) and Technical Advisor to Julie Corden on the IAASB.  These new roles bring her back to her prior standard setting experiences, as she was seconded to IFAC in 2001 as staff of the International Auditing Practices Committee (now the IAASB), served as Technical Advisor to Deloitte’s representatives on the IAASB and ASB from 2003 to 2005 and then again from 2007 to 2010, and supported Deloitte’s members on the PCAOB's Standing Advisory Group during that same time.

Ms. Sergott received her Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.  She is a Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) in both California and Connecticut, a member of the AICPA, and the California and Connecticut State Societies of CPAs.
