Andrew Hunter

Andrew Hunter was appointed Chief Executive Officer of CPA Australia in April 2018. He has extensive experience in senior executive roles both internationally and in Australia.

Prior to joining CPA Australia, Mr. Hunter was Managing Director and CEO of the Export Finance and Insurance Corporation (Efic), Australia's export credit agency, for four years, where he developed and implemented a new strategy that refocused the organization on its core purpose and dramatically improved relationships with all stakeholders.

Mr. Hunter previously held senior positions with Macquarie Group for 22 years, including Head of Macquarie Capital's Advisory business Europe, Middle East and Africa. He has a Bachelor of Economics from Monash University (Australia) and completed the Securities Institute of Australia course in 1991. Mr. Hunter is also an Associate member of CPA Australia.
